So say I'm wrong, and please do I love arguments, but I believe Pangloss was very correct when he said that this Earth was the best possible of Earths created by God. Certainly there is our on going problem of sin, but what would we know of grace without it? How if in our nature it wasn't to sin and make mistakes would we know that we NEED God? I believe sin is a very terrible thing, yes, but I believe "in a way" that it is neccesary in our world to show ourselves approved by God when we choose not to sin.
Also God is PERFECT. I hope we all can agree on that, aside from disbelievers, but that being said how could God make this world anything less than perfect? It's not in his nature to make less than perfect things, it is only us that distorts perfect images made from him. Our world is perfectly alligned in our solar system to provide just enough or more than what we need from every view point and angle.
One day God will create a new Earth, then that will be the best of all possible Earths. Seemingly contradicting but I say not. God creates just what we need in the time we need it. All he does is for the best.
